Class descriptions

POWER (VINYASA)

Our most popular style of class, Power is a variation on Vinyasa flow. Vinyasa, which means "to flow with the breath", is a style of yoga in which breath is linked to movement through creative sequencing. This class is not only physically challenging, but mentally as well! Classes are almost never the same and will take you through a variety of postures from balancing on your feet to balancing on your hands. Come try our most popular class, get sweaty, and have some fun!

Open to all levels!

Hot - 95-100 degrees

Childs pose and water is always optional in any of our classes, challenge yourself but listen to your body.

HATHA/POWER

A combination of the 26-posture Hatha set and Power, this fusion class is a wellness powerhouse. This 60-minute class will take you through a similar sequence every time, giving you opportunities to notice progress in your practice and subtle changes day to day. This practice is shoulder and wrist friendly with limited downdogs and chaturanga's (high to low planks) and is slower moving than both VinYin and Power.

VINYIN

This 75-minute class is a blending of our two most popular styles, flow (Vinyasa) and Yin. Move through a warming Vinyasa flow for 45-50 minutes before transitioning to 25-30 minutes of Yin-centered postures. Not as intense as our Power classes, this is a great flow option if you’re also wanting more time to slow down and explore. This practice is a great balance of yang and yin activities and is a fantastic option for everyone new and experienced.

YIN

Yin is a calming, meditative class of floor-based postures designed to safely stretch the ligaments, tendons, & fascia. Compared to other styles of yoga, the poses are held for a relatively longer period of time, generally 1-5 minutes. This prop heavy 75-minute practice is great for beginners, athletes looking to improve mobility, those looking to quiet their mind, and anyone in search of slowing down.
