Frequently Asked Questions

  • Not at all. While some experience is helpful, it’s not required. You'll get unlimited access to our classes once you sign up, which is a great way to prepare. Our training is designed to teach you the foundations—from the ground up.

  • Absolutely. Many students join simply to deepen their practice, learn alignment, and explore yoga beyond the mat.

  • We meet for about 20 hours per weekend:
    Fridays: 4:30 PM – 9:00 PM
    Saturdays & Sundays: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM (includes a lunch break)

  • Plan for 2–3 hours per week. This may include reading, sequencing, journaling, or reviewing concepts.

  • You’ll earn a 200-hour certificate from Elements Hot Yoga. This qualifies you to register with Yoga Alliance as an RYT-200, though registration is optional.

  • You'll learn to confidently sequence and teach Vinyasa yoga, with the skills to adapt into Power, Hatha, or Slow Flow styles.

  • We allow up to 8 hours (1 day) of excused absence with a make-up assignment and $50 fee. If you miss a full weekend, you’ll need to complete an assignment and book 2 private makeup hours at $100/hour.

  • No worries. Many of us navigate injuries—modifications are always welcome. Let us know what’s going on so we can support you.

  • Not actively. Our space is naturally warm, but formal training sessions won’t be heated. However, you’ll still attend regular hot yoga classes as part of your practice hours.

  • Yes. We require at least 5 participants to hold training. If we don’t meet the minimum, the training may be postponed or cancelled.

  • Bring a mat if you have one. We provide props, but you may need to purchase a couple of required books for anatomy or philosophy.

  • All payments are final. No refunds or exceptions, unless the training is cancelled due to low enrollment. If you need to withdraw, we may be able to transfer a portion of your tuition to a future training, depending on the circumstances.
